Tutoring (One-on-one or small groups if requested)
General Tutoring is a great way to improve knowledge in a particular subject.
Students can be taught the information that they have had trouble grasping,
receiving the additional time and help they need to master the subject.
The Stars Learning Academy (SLA) provides tutoring service for students
who needs academic assistance, enrichment to regular academic programs,
and Talent Identification Programs for gifted students. All SLA tutors
follow the Florida Sunshine State Frameworks.
Evaluations
The tutor continually tracks the student's progress, identifying additional
development needs and routes every session. Any severe problems are
discussed immediately with the child's guardian(s) in order to provide the
best opportunities for him or her. Every two months, the student is
retested at the level he or she had achieved upon entering the tutoring
program to evaluate progress. This is a targeted approach to evaluate the
student and continue to strengthen the key areas of weakness.
To discuss the child's needs, please feel free to contact us (813) 984 - STAR [7827]
